CLINICAL

Working alongside Dr Missa the hospital medical superintendent, Friends of Nixon have recruited and supported several UK based doctors to work in Segbwema. A challenging clinical environment, high disease burden and the opportunity positively impact the hospital's clinical capacity make this a demanding but rewarding role. SERVICE DEVELOPMENT

As well as clinical provision we have supported our volunteer doctors in a range of sustainable quality improvement projects to develop hospital services with local staff.

PARTNERSHIPS

Building long term partnerships with the permanent clinical team and community have allowed us to sustainably develop the hospital together. Although the hospital football team recently lost 4-1 to the Segbwema town team, there was a big cheer when we scored!
